A look under the hood indicates a general bearishness in the S&P 500.

The S&P 500 experienced a widespread bearish trend on Wednesday, down 413 shares across a number of measures. Leading the benchmark were 87 sellers.

The business Generaik, which has fallen more than 23% since the previous session, was the greatest loser.

Significant losses were also incurred by Pecom Software and Solarage Technologies, both of which declined by over 18%.

The best-performing stock, though, was Waters Corporation, which impressively rose by almost 7% during lunchtime trading.
