Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer has signed a bill outlawing “conversion therapy” for kids, making her state the 22nd to do so. The law states that LGBTQ+ adolescents should be embraced, encouraged, and loved and forbids any actions that would attempt to alter a young person’s sexual orientation or gender identity.
